New WHY? song, ‘Circles’ is out as of last Thursday in case you missed it. Here’s a link to listen wherever you listen or to watch the awesome video by our friend Elena Rosu. Or listen below.
Several years ago— 2021 I believe, after having listened to the Mac Miller version a thousand times, I couldn’t stop singing it in the shower and on walks, so I decided it would be appropriate to make a version ourselves. My brother, Josiah, and I got together and made this cover. It came out originally to my monthly subscribers in January 2022, so consider subscribing to my substack for early access to WHY? releases and other exclusive songs. I kept tinkering with it over the years a bit and am happy to now share it with the world. We hope you like it.
Love,
Yoni and co.
PS. I think I’ll do an Instagram live about the process today Tues July 1st at 3PM east coast time (Noon west coast, 8PM GMT) and take any questions you may have. We’ll open up the ProTools session and listen to stems. See you there.
Circles Well, this is what it look like right before you fall. Stumblin' around, you've been guessin' your direction, next step you can't see at all. And I don't have a name, I don't have a name, no. Who am I to blame, who am I to blame though? And I cannot be changed, I cannot be changed, no. Trust me, I've tried, I just end up right at the start of the line, drawin' circles. Well I'm livin' risky, you sip your wine. Went through a wall, sittin', watchin' the world falling down its decline. And I can keep you safe, I can keep you safe. Do not be afraid, do not be afraid. You're feelin' sorry, I'm feelin' fine. Don't you put any more stress on yourself, it's one day at a time. It's gettin' pretty late, gettin' pretty late, and I find it goes around like the hands that keep countin' the time, drawin' circles.

Downloaded this when it went live last week. Great cover. I’ve had it on repeat!
This felt very soulful and the textures and organic pulses are just wonderful.
